Who we are

This policy explains how Groworx (Pty) Ltd, a company registered in South Africa, collects, uses and protects your personal information. We are the responsible party as defined by the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

What data we collect

When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number and company name.

When you visit our website, we may collect technical data such as your IP address, browser type and pages visited. We also collect UTM parameters (source, medium, campaign) from the URL you arrived on, which are stored in cookies so we can understand how you found us.

How we use it

We use the information you provide through our contact form to respond to your enquiry, follow up with relevant information about our products, and manage the relationship in our CRM system.

Contact form submissions are stored in Zoho CRM. Our team is notified of new submissions via Slack so we can respond quickly.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies for the following purposes.

UTM tracking cookies store the campaign parameters from your first visit so we can attribute your enquiry to the correct marketing channel. These cookies expire after 30 days.

If enabled, we use Zoho PageSense or Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use our website. These tools place their own cookies. You can opt out of analytics tracking through your browser settings or by using a browser extension that blocks analytics scripts.

We do not use cookies for advertising or retargeting.

Data retention

Contact form submissions and related CRM records are retained for as long as we have a legitimate business reason to keep them, typically for the duration of our relationship with you and for a reasonable period afterwards.

If you ask us to delete your data, we will do so within 30 days unless we are required by law to retain it.

Your rights under POPIA

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act, you have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete information, request deletion of your personal information (subject to any legal obligation we have to retain it), and object to the processing of your personal information for direct marketing.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa if you believe we have not handled your information in accordance with POPIA.
